From the owner's pen: "Benjy is simply the best dog in the world. He is a combination of intelligence and the ability to read people, with a kind and trustworthy nature. Benjy is the friend of all people, dogs and other animals, and he is not startled by any situation. He is the epiphany of calm and zen. However, to visiting smaller furry friends, Benjy clearly shows his position at the top of the herd. Even though he is already getting old, the step of this boy is still light, and when on the run, he pushes forward like a steam locomotive. Growing older, Benjy has become more stubborn in his ways. When he stops outdoors to sniff something, he is sure to take his time doing just that, for as long as he decides to. Benjy loves peace and routines. He has offspring in many generations. Nowadays this former show star spends leisurely retirement days at home. Benjy became a part of our family at the age of 5 in 2012. With Benjy, I lost my heart to this breed."
